On February 11, 2025, the REPURPOSE project took part in a joint workshop focused on the discovery, design, and upscaling of recombinant enzymes for industrial applications. The event was organized in collaboration with three other Horizon Europe projects: ROBUSTOO, FUTURENZYME, and FURIOUS.

The workshop provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among projects actively advancing industrial biotechnology. Discussions focused on innovative technologies and methodologies developed within the projects, all geared toward accelerating enzyme-based solutions for a more sustainable and efficient industry.
REPURPOSE contributed by sharing insights into its own approach to enzyme development within the broader context of bio-based innovation. These synergies highlight the value of cross-project cooperation in driving forward sustainable, high-impact solutions across sectors.
