During the latest edition of the ECO CHEMICAL Trade Fair, our partner AVEP organised a workshop focused on “Megatrends in the plastics sector: materials, manufacturing and waste management”. The event offered a valuable opportunity to explore the key trends shaping the future of plastics, from emerging materials to innovative production processes and waste management strategies.
Among the invited speakers, AIMPLAS, Instituto Tecnológico del Plástico, also a partner of the REPurpose Project, contributed with a presentation titled “Advanced sustainable and innovative materials and SSbD solutions in the plastics sector”. Their intervention provided meaningful insights into advanced materials and Safe and Sustainable by Design approaches.



The workshop represented a significant opportunity to showcase the ongoing activities of the REPurpose Project, foster dialogue among stakeholders, exchange knowledge, and strengthen collaboration towards a more sustainable plastics sector.
