REPURPOSE Contributes to SSbD Workshop at SETAC Europe 2025
On may 14th, the REPURPOSE project took part in the workshop on the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) framework during the SETAC Europe 35th Annual Meeting.
This interactive session focused on applying SSbD principles to polymeric materials, in collaboration with our sister projects ESTELLA, REDONDO, and SURPASS. Together, we presented and discussed our shared methodologies for integrating SSbD strategies, highlighting key findings, existing challenges, and gaps that need to be addressed to strengthen the framework's practical implementation.
This exchange of experiences and approaches plays a vital role in aligning ongoing research efforts and advancing safer, more sustainable innovation in material design.
